Keeping Up with the Khamis Family: 6 Months Old

I'm 6 months old and BOY have I been busy

Wow, what a month it has been for Connor. So many exciting things happened in his sixth month of life, where do we begin...

He experienced his first Thanksgiving with both sides of the family, had his first sleep over (he did GREAT with Aunt Nancy) and even started holding his own bottle! He also got to meet his Great Grandmother this month, and he was all smiles. Oh, and he also saw Santa for the first time. Boy, this little man was busy.

Connor’s drooling hit an all time high this month (and he was a little cranky at times) which resulted in TWO bottom teeth. Wow, our baby got his first two teeth – This is going way too fast.

His belly laughing continues to be the highlight of Mommy and Daddy’s days, and he is truly fascinated with Lola. He can’t take his eyes off of her, and loves when she is willing to walk up and let him poke her in the mouth or eyes with his hands (she has been so patient.)

Connor now enjoys rolling from his back to his belly while on the changing table, and is SO proud of himself when he does it (which means we can’t take our eyes off of him for even a second). Last month he was reaching for everything, and this month, everything goes into his mouth. I mean, EVERYTHING.

We are still working on sitting up, and we know that he will get there in no time. Connor still loves his Sophie, but also enjoys holding blocks (and then putting them in his mouth).

Who knew that this little bundle would bring us so much happiness? Connor, your Daddy and I just can’t get enough of you, and we really can’t imagine our lives without you. You are our precious boy, and we are so grateful for your smiles, your newly reddish eyebrows, your gorgeous long eyelashes ( where did those come from? I'm jealous), those contagious belly laughs and YOU! We love you Buddy.
