Keeping Up with the Khamis Family: 7 Months Old

I am 7 Months old and taking it all in!

Today, gulp, Connor turned 7 months old. I can't believe how fast this is happening. He continues to grow at a rapid pace and at his 6-month check up he received a perfect bill of health. Yeah!

Connor’s six-month measurements:

Weight – 18 pounds and 8 ounces (50^th percentile)

Head – 46 ½ centimeters (93^rd percentile)

Length -26 inches (25^th percentile)

This month we introduced BABY food, and that has been fun. I was worried about the mess it could potentially be, but Connor has great table manners. He has taken a liking to all of his veggies except for SQUASH (and now that he has gotten a taste of the good stuff, rice cereal is pretty low on his list of favorites.) Sitting in the highchair is also something new, and he feels SO big when he is in there.

Last month Connor was just starting to sit up, but this month he is a pro, and thinks it’s pretty cool! He has started to really enjoy his toys and loves to play with them, bang them, roll on them, etc. We hosted our first playgroup this month, and our little guy had the time of his life… Babies and toys everywhere – What more could a 7 month old ask for?

Connor has 4 new teeth poking through his top gums, so in a few weeks, he’ll have a grand total of 6!

Someone who met Connor for the first time this month said to me “he just seems so content” and she is so right… Our little munchkin is enjoying most moments and is full of life.

Connor, each month gets better and better and you are just a joy… You have made us realize that the simple things in life are truly what matter. You make Mommy and Daddy feel so fulfilled, and we are absolutely loving this journey with you.
