Happy (belated) St. Patrick's Day!

With an Irish name like Connor, the Khamis family was really looking forward to Connor's first St. Patrick's Day! Well, after a trip to the pediatrician in the morning, our "green" plans came to a halt when she directed us to the ER at Mission Hospital because Connor was diagnosed with Baby Croup? What?!

So, instead of being a part of the Via Agradar St. Patrick's Day party, we ended up spending Connor's first St. Partick's Day in room 515 at CHOC at Mission hospital. We were in and out within 24 hours, but it was a LONG 24 hours. Connor is back to his jovial self and is feeling great!

SO no green beer for this family this year - Maybe next year!

Who says I don't feel good??

Both boys are SO ready to leave the hospital

Love these rolls!

Though, I'm a day late, "Happy St. Patrick's Day to my fellow Irishmen!"

  1. Oh No!!! ER visits are the worst. Did you know he was sick, or was your doctor appointment a scheduled well-baby check? Croup sucks...Aaron and Emmie were diagnosed with asthma a couple weeks ago and given a nebulizer. They are doing much better, asthma was induced by their colds. Such a horrible flu season and this virus going around bites! I am still dealing with my cough and it started for us at the end of January! Glad he is feeling better.
