13 Months Old

I'm 13 months old, and thoroughly enjoying my Independence!

Lately, I feel like as soon as I am done posting a monthly update from last month, it's time to post again! This is going WAY too quickly! Connor conquered his 12th month of life with LOTS of food, a great vacation, more words and even took a few steps along the way! What a month it has been.

Milestones/Highlights in his 12th month of life:

• Celebrating his 1st birthday party with lots of friends and family
• First ride on an airplane - Trip to Hawaii!
• Eating everything in sight - new foods including GRAPE LEAVES (yep, you read that correctly), meatballs, penne pasta, waffles, scrambled eggs and animal crackers
• Taking a FEW steps (about five in a row before he falls down, laughing hysterically)
• Another moller popped through (3 mollers now - and this last one has really been bothering him)
• Bye Bye Bottles - Only milk for this boy here on out!
• Talking more and more everyday - MAMA, "Go-Go" for Jo Jo, Blue, wa-wa for water, and my favorite this month "ugh -ohh"
• REALLY starting to have an opinion about things - WATCH OUT if he doesn't have a fond opinion about something
• Highlights in any given day - Turning the light off HIMSELF when it's time for a rest, turning the pages HIMSELF when we are reading a book and grabbing the mail out of the mailbox HIMSELF - LOVES IT! Do you see a common theme here? My baby is growing up!
