ALOHA - Connor's first trip to Hawaii

We just returned from a fun-filled trip to Hawaii! Because we were staying for an entire week, I had countless concerns about how everything would go - "How will Connor do on the plane?", "would he get sunburned?" "how will he deal with the time change?" so on, and so on...

Well, Connor proved to be quite the jet setter and adjusted perfectly to our first family vacation. He slept for a few hours on each flight (thank god!) and made a few friends on the plane - A flight attendant even asked if she could walk him up and down the aisles. Thank you ipad and cherrios for the flight entertainment.

The Bayerds joined us for the first half of the trip, and it was absolutely great. It was so much fun to be with them (as always) and both boys were great travel companions. Shopping, eating at Roys (two nights in a row), Left, Right,Center, LOTS of laughs and a spa day for the ladies - It was perfect...

For the second half of the week, it was just the three of us. We spent a lot of time in the water, and Connor loved every minute. A few highlights of Hawaii were playing with Connor's beach pales, seeing sea turtles up close, tasting the BEST "Shave Ice" on the Island, looking at beautiful rainbows, watching sunsets and just enjoying each other.

At one point during our trip (while a stranger took our picture), I looked at both boys and was so happy with our little family!

We could not have asked for better weather or company... What a week. I'm already beginning to plan a trip for next year.

Aloha.
