I can't believe that 30 days have gone by since we had our little boy. Grant is already a month old - Looking back at his first month of his life, it went by very quickly but at the same time, it seems like he's been here forever.
Grant has already brought so much joy to this family with his cute little grunts, the way that he loves to rest on his mommy's chest and the way he forms a circle with his lips after he has a full belly. He has such sweet eyes that are slowly adjusting to the light and his lips - I just LOVE his lips.
Connor has been exceptionally good with Grant. He says " Grant, you're ok. You're ok. You're ok" when he is crying and the grin that automatically shows up on Connor's face when he see's his baby bro every morning melts my heart.
Things that I have not really loved thus far - The EARLY wake up calls at usually 2:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. have taken some time to get used too ( and I am still not used to it.) Grant's high pitch cry that will give anyone goose bumps - Boy, this little fella has a set of lungs on him. Wow.
Overall, the first month has been great. Lots of sleeping, eating, pooping and crying for Mr. G-Dub. All the things babies his age should be doing. He is a joy to have at the house, and we think he is fitting in just perfectly.
Grant, you have reminded us how blessed we are to have you and your brother in our lives. TWO boys... We would not have it any other way. We are looking forward to all that you will show us in the next thirty days. We heart you baby boy.
