"I'm 2 1/2 going on 7!"
We have had quite a few firsts as a two and a half year old (some good, some not so good):
- Crawling out of his crib for the first time (when he was being watched by Auntie Nan)
- Not taking a nap on Mondays when Grandpa and Noony watch him
- Having a "poo poo" party in his crib ( I thought we had dodged this bullet, guess not!)
- Singing songs - Who's afraid of the big bad wolf, Jin-gum bells, Five Little Monkeys (it's daring)
- Referring to Faith Hill on Sunday Night football as his "girlfriend"
- Hosting birthday party's for all his stuffed animals in his crib during nap time.
- Kipper is by FAR his favorite show and followed closely by Caillou ( this is a new development)
- Using a British accent when he says "Naughty", " I can't" and "water" - It's hilarious
- Riding his tricycle all by himself, without any help
- Becoming quite the picky eater (another new development)
Needless to say, there have been a lot of laughs, sighs, head scratches and thoughts of "where did my baby go?" these past few months, but I guess it's just part of the deal.
He is so much fun to be around and we could not be happier with how he is with his brother Grant. He is enamored by him, and has such a kind and loving demeanor with his baby brother.
Connor, it seems like you have really turned the corner, onto big boy avenue. Although it makes us a little sad, we are so happy with your independence, confidence and love of life - Life is just one big bowl of cherries in your eyes, and that's exactly how it should be. We are so proud of you, big guy.
One of the selected few things Connor likes to eat these days - French Fries (and can you really blame him?)
Kisses for Grant
Sand, Water and Trucks - A perfect day for this 2 1/2 year old
Connor's first time on the Balboa Island Ferry
Tuesdays are still Connor's favorite day of the week.
