Spreading Christmas Cheer!

I don't think there was a single weekend in December that the Khamis family was not participating in some sort of Christmas festivity.  From watching the San Clemente Christmas train go by to the neighborhood Pajama exchange, getting our Christmas tree, school celebrations, sitting on Santa's Lap, gift exchanges, Christmas parties, etc., etc.  We didn't miss a thing!

Connor seemed to really enjoyed Christmas and all that it had to offer.  Highlights included:
  •    Christmas Music -- jin-gum bells was sung quite a bit in the car
  •    The Christmas Lights -- We took many car rides to check out the flying Santa's, candy canes that lined walkways and ice cycles that hung from many rooftops.  He never got tired of it and we never got tired of watching his eyes light as we drove by each house as if it was the first time seeing it.
  •   "Teddy" the Elf on the Shelf -- Last year Connor was to young to get it, but this year, Connor named him and the phrase "Mom, the elf is watching me!" was said daily.
  • The Candy/Cookies/Treats -- They seemed to be everywhere this month, and Connor had his fair share.
  • Charlie Brown Christmas - He LOVED this movie, and we watched it almost nightly.  I even caught myself singing "Christmas time is here (in that really whiny voice)..."
A few photos from our month of cheer:

Andrew's Kids Christmas Celebration - Connor made his first Christmas ornament at school, and he was so proud of it!
