From dying Easter eggs (which I think there needs to be washable dye - just sayin'), leaving carrots for the Easter Bunny (Connor actually posted up next to the carrots for about 30 minutes because he "was waiting for the Easter Bunny" to come) to multiple egg hunts, our annual family picnic that included water balloon volleyball, the annual egg toss (Kyle and I didn't even make it to the top five this year!) and LOTS of Easter candy -- Connor TOTALLY got into the spirit this year (and Grant came along for the ride.)
To be honest, Easter was never a big holiday for my family growing up. It usually consisted of a See's Candy Easter basket, a pair of new pajama's and a new outfit to wear to church - oh, and the family picnic -- it was never really one of my favorites. But this holiday may be right up there with Christmas for Connor.
I am still finding grass and half of plastic easter eggs in random places all over the house... Lots of fun last weekend.
