Grant is 8 Months Old!

"I'm 8 Months Old and am officially on the Move!"

This month we noticed that Grant has become much more independent, and enjoys playing in the playroom without Mommy or Daddy right next to him.  His treasure chest full of coins and his little refrigerator occupy him for numerous minutes (sometimes even 30!)

A monumental game changer happened this month also -- Grant showed signs that he was ready to get movin' (literally.)  Yep, our little guy treated us to his very cute scoot and army slither down the hall this month.  I am now in baby proofing mode once again.  And let me tell you, the determination in his eyes and grunting that goes on when he inches his way from one place to another shows that this boy has some serious will -- Oh goodness.

Grant took a few more dips in the jacuzzi this month, started holding his own bottle, is becoming much more vocal, and he seems to be the heaviest 8 month I've ever held - The rolls on this guy are endless.

BUT, he still doesn't have any teeth!?  I looked back at Connor's 8 month pictures the other day, and he had 6 teeth at this stage!  Grant, where are those little tick tacks?!

Grant, some of our favorite moments of the day are when we watch you and your brother play.  You absolutely love to be in Connor's company.  Your bro is constantly telling me what you like and don't like, and he loves to make you laugh.  The way you bury your head into my shoulder when I pick you up makes my day, and you are officially obsessed with Puffs.  Your big grin is priceless and that deep laugh is music to our ears.    What surprises do you have in store for us next month?!  We love you, G-Dub.
