Grant's first Owie (and trip to the ER)

As a mother of two boys, I have come to the realization that the Emergency Room is a place that I will probably become pretty familiar with, but didn't think it would happen SO SOON.  Well, now that I think about it, we have been to the ER with Connor 3 times now (all due to croup), but thought that we were finally done with that place (it's been almost two years since our last visit...)

A few weeks ago, Grant and Connor were playing at my Dad's house, when Connor ran into the other room, and shut the door behind him - Grant is now completely on the move, and was running right after him, and unfortunately has his hand in the hinge of the door when Connor shut it!!  OUCH... Lots of blood, a panicked phone call from my dad, and a trip to the ER, Grant left with three stitches and very sore hand.

I gotta say, he cried A LOT while they were stitching him up, but he recovered rather quickly.  He was even smiling by the time we left -- He is such a brave little boy.

We had a few long nights following the accident, though his finger has almost completely healed. 

**Knocking on wood** Let's hope that the ER is not a place that we visit again any time soon :/
