What a Happy Hallowen

Halloween 2010
WOW -I had NO idea how much fun Halloween would be this year... It started in early September when I decided that Connor needed to be a pirate for Halloween.  Growing up, my mom and I would go to the fabric store, pick out a pattern, purchase the fabric, and then my mom would spend countless hours with her friend Judy making my costume - Why would it be any different for Connor, right?!

So, Judy so kindly agreed to make Connor's costume with my Mom and they did an amazing job!  Connor wore his costume on three separate occasions, and every time he put it on, he got cuter and cuter. He first wore his costume to his friend Tallon's 1st birthday ( it was a costume party), he got to wear it again to music class a few days before Halloween with all his buddies, and one more time for Halloween... He wasn't a huge fan at first, but he soon became quite ok with the title "Captain Khamis"

Trick-or-Treating on our street was a hoot too!  We invited the Candlish's and Gordons over  to be a part of the fun festivities.  The Lobster and Cowgirl looked just DARLING!   All the kids on the street looked great, and it was so much fun watching them go from house to house.  Connor actually got the concept down but he never wanted to leave each house - He wanted to put ALL the candy from each house in his bag - What a greedy little pirate ;)

Ahh, what a fun holiday with the Kids - And Grandma Meggy is already asking what he is going to be next year!?  Any ideas?

And then came Trick -or -Treating with the neighborhood....
With our characters before the craziness...
"Mom and Dad, look what I got!"
Off to the next house....
So ready for his "treat"
Headed back home to check out their treasures..
"Sheesh, I'm pooped!"
